📕 Format of Discussion Club

Rinse and repeat:

  1. Question + article of the week (Monday)
  2. Weekly discussion call + group note taking
  3. Potential:
    1. Author Fireside Chat - invite authors ahead of time (then you naturally have a good discussion group)
    2. Writing club (content - similar to RPF calls)
    3. Pitch your proposal/looking for idea refinement (discuss one person's single project in one call)
    4. Discuss Gitcoin's problems that need solving (where thoughts are needed, like governance - similar to stewards but these are just here to explore ideas rather than votes. Good place to start proposal submissions) —> this could be part of the weekly call.

👩‍💻 Mod of the Week

Rinse and Repeat (Different from Admin):

  1. Come up with the question of the week; share an article related/insight/food for thought
  2. Sign up for the week they're interested in hosting, pick a time. Prepare summary, questions + article for discussion (prep before the call), then moderate the actual event (leading conversation)
    1. Eventually when this gets bigger = 1 main call per week, people can host different juntos the rest of the time if interested, but right now it's still small so the call is only once a week.
    2. People just need to fill out the info, and we handle the logistic (cal invite, notif, article share, etc). Though the mod is expected to be somewhat active during the week.
    3. Mod can invite +2 into the group to participate in the call

<aside> 💡 Pan suggested: would be a fun experiment in group governance, to have people propose articles, we have a council select the top say 5 runners, then the group votes on which ones should be at the top
